Contego Media incorporates AI-assisted features into several creator tools, including beat and music generation (Beat Lab AI Beat Maker, Pulse Anthem), AI cover artwork (Art Lab / Imagine), AI music video generation (Video Lab), mastering assistance, and related creative workflows. This AI Policy describes how these features work, what you should expect from AI-generated outputs, your responsibilities as a user of AI-assisted tools, and how we handle data in connection with these features.
2. Nature of AI-Assisted Outputs
Outputs may vary. AI-generated music, beats, artwork, and other creative outputs are produced by generative models and will vary with each generation. Results are not guaranteed to meet any particular creative, commercial, or technical standard.
No guarantee of uniqueness or exclusivity. AI-generated outputs are produced from model processes that may generate similar or identical outputs for different users. Contego Media does not guarantee that any AI-generated output is unique, novel, exclusive, or otherwise distinct from content generated for other users.
No copyright guarantee. Contego Media makes no representation that AI-generated outputs are free from third-party intellectual property claims or that they are independently copyrightable under applicable law. Copyright status of AI-generated works is subject to evolving legal interpretation. You are responsible for consulting qualified legal counsel regarding the copyright status of AI-assisted outputs before commercial use.
Review before publication. You are strongly encouraged to review all AI-generated outputs before publishing, distributing, licensing, or otherwise making them public. Do not publish AI-generated outputs you have not reviewed and do not publish content that you would not be permitted to create manually.
3. Your Responsibilities When Using AI Tools
When you use AI-assisted features on Contego Media, you agree that:
- You will not input unlawful content. You will not submit prompts, reference materials, or uploads that are illegal, infringing, obscene, abusive, hateful, or otherwise in violation of our Content Policy.
- You will not use AI tools to infringe. You will not use AI tools to reproduce, closely imitate, or derive output from copyrighted works you do not own or have a license to use.
- You will not use AI tools to deceive. You will not use AI outputs to impersonate real artists, generate false endorsements, fabricate content presented as genuine, or create deepfakes of identifiable individuals without their consent.
- You will comply with output obligations. You are responsible for ensuring any AI-assisted output you distribute, sell, license, or publish complies with all applicable laws and third-party rights.
- You will not attempt to bypass safety controls. You will not attempt to circumvent, manipulate, or abuse moderation or safety filters built into AI features.
- You bear commercial use responsibility. If you use AI-generated outputs commercially, all rights clearance, registration, and licensing obligations remain yours.
4. AI & Your Data
How your inputs are used: When you use AI-assisted features, your inputs (including prompts, uploaded reference files, and parameter selections) are processed to generate your requested output. We process this data to provide the service to you.
Training use: We do not currently use individual user content or prompts to train or fine-tune AI models without your explicit consent. We reserve the right to update this practice with appropriate notice.
Retention: Input data used in AI generation may be retained for a limited period for safety, moderation, debugging, and service improvement purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Third-party AI providers: Some AI features may be powered by third-party AI model providers. These providers are contractually required to handle data in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. We select providers based on their compliance with data security standards.
5. Moderation & Safety
Contego Media's AI tools include safety filters designed to prevent generation of harmful, illegal, infringing, or prohibited content. We may reject, flag, or block requests that violate our Content Policy or that our systems identify as potentially harmful.
We may review flagged AI-generation requests for policy compliance. Repeated attempts to generate prohibited content may result in feature restriction or account suspension.
6. Age Requirements & Parental Supervision
Contego Media's AI-powered tools — including Art Lab / Imagine, AI Beat Maker, Pulse Anthem, Video Lab, and related generation features — are intended for users aged 13 and older. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 should use AI generation features with parental or guardian awareness where appropriate.
We apply content filtering measures to help prevent the generation of violent, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate content. These measures are not foolproof, and AI-generated outputs may occasionally be unexpected. If you encounter output that appears inappropriate, please report it via our Support page.
Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to create an account or use Contego Media. If we become aware that a user under 13 has registered, we will take steps to remove the account in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
7. Limitations of AI Features
- AI-generated audio may contain artifacts, imperfections, or stylistic inconsistencies.
- AI-generated artwork may not perfectly match prompt specifications.
- AI mastering is an assistive tool and is not a substitute for professional mastering services.
- Generation results depend on available model versions, which may change over time.
