1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Contego Media ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users, including guests, free users, and paid subscribers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Contego Media. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Contego Media is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
4.1 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription plans are billed automatically each month on your renewal date. By subscribing:
- You authorize Contego Media (via its billing provider) to charge your payment method monthly.
- Billing continues until you cancel or your subscription is terminated.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Monthly charges are generally non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for exceptions.
4.2 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscription plans are billed upfront once per year at a discounted rate. By subscribing annually:
- You authorize a single annual charge to your payment method.
- Your subscription automatically renews after 12 months unless canceled.
- You have a 7-day refund request window from the date of initial purchase, subject to usage-based restrictions.
- After the 7-day window, annual charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

4.3 Automatic Renewal
All subscriptions (monthly and annual) renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You will receive notice of your renewal date via email.
4.4 Price Changes
Contego Media reserves the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes. Continued subscription after notice constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
4.5 Usage-Based Digital Services
Contego Media provides digital services that are consumed upon use, including AI artwork generation, beat generation, audio mastering, file exports, and file storage. Refunds may be restricted when meaningful digital value has already been consumed. See our Refund Policy for details.
4.6 App Store Billing
If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, billing is governed by Apple's or Google's respective terms and policies. Contego Media does not control app store billing or refunds. For app store purchases, refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google. Web purchases at contego.media are handled through our web billing provider.
4.7 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings page. Cancellation:
- Stops future automatic renewals.
- Does not automatically refund charges already processed.
- Maintains your paid access through the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Upload, generate, or distribute content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- Generate or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, obscene, or violates our Content Policy.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or subscription entitlements.
- Engage in fraud, account sharing, or misuse of the refund system.
- Use automated tools to scrape, bulk-download, or abuse Platform resources.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of original content you create using the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant Contego Media a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
AI-generated content (artwork, beats) is provided without warranty of originality or copyright ownership. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before commercial use.
Contego Media retains all rights to the Platform, its software, design, branding, and underlying AI models.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Termination
Contego Media may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, Content Policy, or other applicable policies. Upon termination:
- Your access to paid features is revoked immediately.
- Your data may be retained for up to 30 days before deletion, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
- No refund is owed for terminations resulting from policy violations.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". Contego Media makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding uptime, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be free from errors or meet your specific creative requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Contego Media's liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the applicable courts, as required by your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at contego.media/terms. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance.
