It applies to all content created, uploaded, exported, shared, or transmitted through Contego Media, including audio recordings, beats, vocals, generated artwork, project files, video content, and any other materials.

All users — creators, subscribers, free-tier users, and collaborators — are subject to this Policy. Violation may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

2. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on Contego Media:

2.1 Infringing Content

• Content that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right.
• Unauthorized sampling, reproduction, or distribution of commercially released recordings.
• Use of AI tools to reproduce or closely imitate identifiable copyrighted works without authorization.

2.2 Illegal Content

• Content that violates any applicable local, national, or international law.
• Content that facilitates, promotes, or glorifies illegal activity, including drug trafficking, weapons offenses, or financial crimes.
• Content produced in violation of export control or sanctions regulations.

2.3 Abusive, Harmful & Harassing Content

• Content that threatens, harasses, intimidates, bullies, or targets individuals or groups.
• Content designed to cause emotional harm or distress to identifiable individuals.
• Content that doxes or exposes private personal information of others without consent.

2.4 Hateful Content

• Content that promotes, incites, or glorifies discrimination, violence, or hatred based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Slurs, dehumanizing language, or extremist rhetoric directed at any group.

2.5 Exploitative & Abusive Content

• Any content that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors in any way. Such content will be reported to relevant authorities without notice.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery or recordings.
• Content that exploits vulnerable individuals.

2.6 Deceptive & Fraudulent Content

• Content designed to deceive, mislead, or manipulate listeners, viewers, or other users.
• Fabricated or false statements of fact presented as real.
• Deepfakes or AI-generated impersonations of real individuals without clear disclosure and consent.

2.7 Malicious Content

• Files containing viruses, malware, spyware, ransomware, or other harmful code.
• Content designed to compromise the security of Contego Media or its users.

2.8 Misuse of Creator & AI Tools

• Using Contego Media's AI-powered tools to generate prohibited content as described above.
• Attempting to bypass AI safety filters or moderation systems.
• Using creator tools to mass-produce low-quality, spam, or deceptive content.
• Using the Platform to generate content that you do not have rights to create based on third-party input materials.

2.9 Impersonation & Fraud

• Impersonating Contego Media, its staff, or other creators.
• Creating misleading accounts designed to deceive other users or the public.
• Using false identity information in connection with Platform services.

3. Enforcement

Contego Media enforces this Content Policy through a combination of automated tools, user reports, and manual review. Enforcement outcomes may include:

• Content removal: Individual files, projects, or outputs that violate this Policy may be removed without prior notice.
• Warning: A formal notice issued to the account holder identifying the violation.
• Feature restriction: Temporary or permanent restriction of specific Platform features.
• Account suspension: Temporary suspension of access pending review.
• Permanent ban: Permanent termination of the account and associated data for serious or repeated violations.
• Legal referral: Referral to law enforcement or rights holders where legally required or appropriate.

Repeat violations, severe violations (including any content that endangers minors), or violations that cause harm to third parties may result in immediate permanent termination without warning.

5. Appeals

If you believe content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you may submit an appeal by contacting support@contego.media with a description of the content and the reason for your appeal. We will review appeals in good faith, though we are not obligated to reverse enforcement decisions.

6. Moderation & Appeals

Contego Media reviews content and accounts flagged by users or our systems. We aim to address reports within the following target timeframes, though actual response times may vary depending on volume and complexity:

• Automated flags: We aim to review within 1–3 business days
• User-submitted reports: We aim to review within 3–5 business days
• Copyright / DMCA notices: We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 10 business days, in accordance with applicable DMCA procedures

If your content is removed or your account is suspended, you may submit an appeal via our Support page within 14 days of the action. Include your account email, a description of the situation, and the reason for your appeal. We will do our best to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We reserve the right to uphold moderation decisions that are consistent with our Content Policy and Terms of Service. Accounts with repeated or severe violations may be terminated without further appeal opportunity.

This Content Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
